Together We Can Thank OUR Community Heroes
For over a year, our community heroes have worked around the clock, facing excessive overtime, isolation, loneliness and anxiety. They have kept reporting to work and caring for all of us, holding our family members hands when we were not allowed in the hospital, providing tangible and emotional support, praying with us and for us, and fulfilling all obligations of their care for our city.
In February, non-profits Beacon People and Grace Klein Community united to show Birmingham that Love Does. Together, we honored 8700 community heroes around Birmingham, including our healthcare, first responders, nursing home residents, civil servants, and educators.
Movement Birmingham continues this spirit of unity by hosting a virtual fundraiser that culminates with an April 30th virtual concert that gives the people of Birmingham an opportunity to honor those who have served us. Together, we will "pay it forward" with a family meal from one of our partner restaurants.
Secure your ticket today by making a donation, towards our community heroes, so that we can distribute 3000+ gift cards during our virtual event. 100% of your donations are tax deductible through the National Christian Foundation.
Together we can remind our community heroes that we see them, we love them and that we thank them for their continued selfless service to all of us.
